Freedom - Parallax
Freedom » Devlog
The parallax in Freedom is a result of different layers placed closer to the player and farther away from the player, to give a feel of depth. Two images are tiled across the room.
Inside the scene, the first image moves at a faster speed and then catches up with the player, and the second image is set behind the first and moves at a slower pace to appear as if it was farther. Putting this all together leads to the effect shown.
